IBS membership fees: increase after Cape Town
An update to IBS membership fees has been approved by the Board. This is the first adjustment to our membership fees in the Society's history, a modest and long-overdue step, and it will take effect after the 35th International Symposium on Ballistics in Cape Town this October. Even with the change, IBS membership remains outstanding value.Until then, the current fees still apply. Up to and throughout the 35th ISB, you can still renew or take out a lifetime membership at today's rates. So now is an excellent moment to lock in the current pricing before the new schedule begins.
The updated schedule, effective after Cape Town:
| Membership category | Current rate | New rate |
| Individual (18-month term) | USD 50 | USD 60 |
| Student (18-month term) | USD 15 | USD 20 |
| Lifetime (under 50) | USD 500 | USD 600 |
| Lifetime (50 and over) | USD 300 | USD 360 |
| Corporate — Silver | USD 250 | USD 300 |
| Corporate — Gold | USD 500 | USD 600 |
| Corporate — Platinum | USD 1000 | USD 1200 |
Membership continues to give you access to the ISB proceedings archive from the 1st Symposium onward, a unique, cumulative record of ballistics research found nowhere else, including a number of free paper downloads each term. It also brings discounted symposium registration and the wider benefits of belonging to our international community.
If you have been considering upgrading to lifetime membership, you should do so before Cape Town. Please contact the membership chair at membership@ballistics.org to arrange the upgrade details.
